Three Advantages of Golf Course Living

There are advantages to Country Club living, such as access to fine dining, excellent amenities, and a close-knit family atmosphere. But if you don’t join a club, you can still enjoy some aspects of having a golf club as a neighbor.

At the Village at Castle Pines, we can boast not one but two world-class, 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed courses: one at the Castle Pines Golf Club and one at the Country Club of Castle Pines.

One of the distinct advantages of living in The Village is that you don’t have to be a member of either club to enjoy living here and the golf course lifestyle. You may want to join the Country Club at Castle Pines once you see their amazing transformation in 2022, but the bottom line is that it’s up to you.

So why would you want to live at The Village at Castle Pines if you don’t play golf?

There are certainly advantages to Country Club living such as access to fine dining, excellent amenities, and a close-knit family atmosphere. But if you don’t join a club, you can still enjoy some aspects of having a golf club as a neighbor.

1 – Golf cart use on private roads

The Village was designed as a resort-style community which means our roads are private and, as such, you can use golf carts on our roads to get to the golf course, the Canyon Club Complex, or over to your neighbor’s house. Golf carts that use the roads must be street legal and driven by licensed drivers. But sometimes, on a cool summer evening, a drive in the golf cart is a lovely thing to do. It feels like you’re on vacation – but it’s just home.

2 – A potential market of interested buyers

With Club members from all over the Denver metro area and several high-profile golf tournaments, like the BMW Championship, homes in the Village are continually sought after by passionate golfers. Indeed, the Castle Pines County Club and the Village at Castle Pines enjoy a symbiotic relationship. Sometimes, club members decide to live in the Village, and sometimes, residents decide to join the lifestyle club with its excellent amenities. Either way, we’re glad we’re neighbors.

3 – Beautiful, well-maintained grounds

Hands down, the most significant advantage to golf course living is the fantastic, beautiful, well-maintained grounds. Both courses are immaculately maintained and provide a lovely place to wander for the plethora of wildlife in the Village. It’s not just the beautiful expanses of grass and greens, either. The courses include ponds, waterfalls, and beautiful annual flowers. It’s charming.

You don’t have to be an avid golfer to love golf course living. With two championship-level golf courses, beautifully maintained clubs, and a community designed to support the resort-style, golf lifestyle there’s a lot to take advantage of and enjoy off the course as well.
