The Village prides itself on its active volunteer committees, which help keep our community running smoothly and costs down. More than 100 volunteers serve on ten committees, and our Board of Directors is also 100% volunteer.
The Homes Association staff coordinates with Board appointed committees comprised of resident volunteers. These committees play a vital role in community life. Volunteering for one of the CPHA committees is a great way to meet fellow residents and enhance the community you live in at the same time. The Castle Pines Homes Association has numerous committees where homeowners get an opportunity to see the association’s inner workings and affect policy and procedures.
The Communications Committee publishes the Village reporter, bi-monthly newsletter, gate signs, and welcome committee and provides staff with strategic oversight of the website and weekly emails.
Design Review reviews and approvals all design standards in the Village.
The Emergency Services Committee provides strategic direction and advocates to the Board of Directors on policy changes related to ES.
This group reviews infractions and establishes fines for covenant violations.
The Forest Committee ensures that our forest is being cared for both to preserve this beautiful asset as well as fire mitigation.
Our Long-Range Planning group ensures that the Village maintains its fiscally conservative approach to its asset health.
The Marketing Committee focuses on messages for external constituents related to Village amenities and realtor information.
The team on the Parks and Rec Committee plans our Village events and maintains our beautiful parks and trails.
The Technology Committee primarily focuses on ensuring the infrastructure is in place so that Village homes can access the appropriate level of technology.
Our Wildlife Committee informs and educates residents on the wildlife present here. Additionally, they can help advise about wildlife that interact with humans.
