The Village tennis complex includes five USTA regulation tennis courts and a ball machine for individual practice.
Residents can use their website login to reserve a court on the portal. If you arrive more than ten minutes late, you forfeit your time slot for the court you reserved. If you reserve a court and determine that you cannot use it, please cancel your reservation on the website.
Reservations open seven days in advance at 7:00 a.m. The day before play, you will also receive a text message reminder.
The ball machine is available for resident use. Reserve Court 1 to use it, as it is enclosed in the small shed alongside Court 1. The shed key and the ball machine’s remote are kept at the Village Lake Fitness Center. An access card is required for entry. A sign-out book is located at the front desk.
The CPHA Tennis Activities Group promotes and organizes tennis activities for all interested Village at Castle Pines residents.
The Parks and Rec committee sponsors informal activities and social events, which are held several times during the spring, summer, and fall. These are communicated in the Friday e-blast and gate signs.
The Tennis Activities Group has a list of resident tennis players’ names, phone numbers, and skill levels. To have your name and information added to the list, contact admin@thevillagecastlepines.com. This list will be used to send emails informing residents of upcoming tennis events.
For residents looking for more formal activities, the Tennis Activities Group forms United States Tennis Association (USTA) sanctioned teams at various levels for both men and women for play throughout the summer. These teams travel to other sites and host other teams for their matches. If you are interested in league play, email your name, the league you are interested in, and your skill level to admin@thevillagecastlepines.com. Information about USTA leagues, activities, and rating systems is available at www.usta.com.
The Village offers Youth Programs in the Spring and Summer. These sessions are after school in the Spring and daytime in the summer. Sign up for Youth Programs.
The Village offers tennis drills for residents in spring and summer. Drills are scheduled for Friday and Saturday mornings for beginners through advanced levels.
