The Village at Castle Pines Court Complex at the Canyon Club

Featuring five tennis courts, three pickleball courts, and a combination pickleball/sport court and a ball machine for individual practice.

Pickleball in the Village

The Village pickleball complex is located at the Canyon Club and consists of three designated courts and one shared court with basketball.  In the summer of 2023, a ball machine will be installed on court four for individual practice.

Court Reservations

All courts can be reserved through the website reservation system.

  • To reserve the pickleball courts, you must be a Village resident and use your resident login to reserve a court.
  • Individuals may reserve them up to seven days in advance.
  • The ball machine is available for resident use. Please reserve Court 4 to use the ball machine as it is enclosed in the small shed alongside Court 4. The key for the shed and the remote control for the ball machine is kept at the Village Lake Fitness Center. A sign-out book is located at the front desk.

The best way for new players to meet other players in the Pickleball community is to attend Open Play (typically scheduled two mornings and two evenings during the week) starting in the Spring. New residents can also list their interest in the HOA Directory.

Please note: If you arrive more than ten minutes late, you forfeit your time slot for the court you reserved. If you reserve a court and determine that you will not be able to use it, please cancel your reservation on the website.

Informal Play

Informal activities and social events are sponsored by the Parks and Rec committee and held several times during the spring, summer and fall.  These are communicated in the Friday e-blast and gate signs.

The Pickleball Activities Community (PAC) is beginning to maintain a list of resident pickleball players’ names, phone numbers, and skill levels. To have your name and information added to the list, email admin@thevillagecastlepines.com. This list will be used to send emails informing residents of upcoming pickleball events.

Currently, there are no Village competitive pickleball leagues.

To meet other players, plan to attend a Social or an Open Play offered during the summer available at the following times:

Monday and Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Courts 1 and 2

Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m., Courts 1 and 2
