Informal Activities And Social Events
Informal activities and social events are sponsored by the Parks and Rec committee and held several times during the spring, summer, and fall. These are communicated in the Friday e-blast and gate signs.
The Tennis Activities Group has a list of resident tennis players’ names, phone numbers, and skill levels. To have your name and information added to the list, contact [email protected]. This list will be used to send emails informing residents of upcoming tennis events.
For residents looking for more formal activities, the Tennis Activities Group forms United States Tennis Association (USTA) sanctioned teams at various levels for both men and women for play throughout the summer. These teams travel to other sites and host other teams for their matches. If you are interested in league play, email your name, the league you are interested in, and your skill level to [email protected]. Additional information about USTA leagues, activities, and rating systems can be found at www.usta.com.
The Village offers Youth Programs in the Spring and Summer. These sessions are after school in the Spring and daytime in the summer. Sign up for Youth Programs.
The Village offers tennis drills, for residents only, in spring and summer. Drills are currently scheduled for Friday and Saturday mornings for beginners through advanced levels.
